Puffing Billy

What a cold, wet and miserable day. Just the weather for a photo shoot at Puffing Billy in the Dandenongs... at least that is what my Dad and son S wanted to do. They have been waiting for a suitably dank day, to get maximum video steam effect... it was just a bit too damp though and after two stops along the line, we'd all had enough of the rain and wet cameras and headed for a warm lunch then home.
This is hardly a unique shot of this train (from the first bridge out from Belgrave) – it must have been taken a few thousand times before. The rain didn't seem to put off the throngs of people hanging out of the train windows. (It is school holidays.)
