Optical Illusion

During a short walk along the canal this morning I spotted some water plants that I had not noticed before (presumably a type of water lily).  The object was to get a close up shot of them, but as I did so noticed the effect of the reflections on the water giving the illusion of a double edge to the canal bank.  So that became the focus and the plant a secondary role in the shot.
