Busy bee

Having seen the forecast last night we decided not to make any plans for a day out today - but of course it was wrong and it's been a lovely day here until teatime.

We all did a bit of gardening this morning and I had a play with my camera for 5 minutes. Lottie built a 'bird house' consisting of the few flowers I would let her pick, weeds and grass - and a sign saying "You're welcome birds".

After lunch we headed to the park with her bike minus stabilizers and tried to get her riding. She had a good go but we didn't quite get there, so we played football instead then had an icecream in the sun. It was lovely.

The photo features my purple geranium again which I didn't intend but it is really to show the bee, busying about collecting pollen.
