Real Petals in a Real World

Standing in the middle of the huge field of colour,  full to bursting with the tall  and various shades of delphiniums was really stunning. Difficult to photograph tho' as I would have like to have been a couple of feet taller! In the end I ended up on Live View just holding the camera over my head in a hopeful manner!

Real petals from the British centre for real flower confetti and they are grown on this farm on Wyke Manor Estate near Pershore. Naturally air dried, packed by hand and a great example of ingenuity by our farmers. 
Hand harvested too am I saw them in the heat sitting on the floor doing this which looked quite laborious!
