St Catherine's Chapel, Abbotsbury

Another walk with my walking group today this time in West Dorset starting in Abbotsbury. When we set off, the sea mist was rolling in and it was fairly windy. Thankfully, it soon burnt off and the sun came out so an enjoyable walk finished by a stop in a local tea room.
This is a 14C chapel built by the local Abbey monks high on a hilltop overlooking Chesil beach. Local woman used to pray to St Catherine to ask her to find them a husband.
