Looking out across Derwentwater...

We walked up from Ashness bridge, it was quite steep for me but I am determined to get my fitness back! Heading up to High seat, we went quite slowly, taking pictures and enjoying the views looking across the lake. The sharp peak in the middle is Causey Pike, then behind to the left is Crag Hill, and to the right is Grisedale Pike.
We didn't make it all the way to High Seat this time, and coming down was knackering, but feel so privileged to live near all this superb countryside...
You can see the ferry making it's way across the Lake making wonderful ripple patterns in the water in large
