School fair enough

I did enjoy it. But after 2 hours, enough was enough.

The Kilbarrack fire brigade did what it does best: hose down little kids.

They did save a little bit of water for the adult fun: Mrs Raheny has made a full recovery and she even won this year again the Yummy Mummies Wet T-shirt Competition (her trophy for the 2012 edition - a bronze cast of a dripping pair of melons - will join the others on the mantle piece).

And once again we came back with more cubic centimetres worth of junk toys than we donated (mostly the toys that we had bought at last year's summer fair).
It looks like Lavoisier's famous law is somehow flawed.

Meanwhile, Finnzy-Bob was made an honorary firetoddler today.
