Childhood revisited

I never thought I'd be here, in Brodick where all my childhood summers were spent, with my grandchildren. Having left home in torrential rain, we ended the day on the beach, where Catriona and Anna discovered the joy of exploring the shore and the lagoon behind the beach.

And then we walked home in our bare feet. Holidays!
