It Looks Like Rain

The little man has come out of his cottage with his umbrella. It is going to rain. He has no face, and a peculiar green dot protruding from his pants, but somehow, he forecasts the weather better than the U.S. Weather Service!

Such a simple kitschy item, yet it brings back memories of childhood and items such as dribble cups and the bobbing, drinking duck.

As a youngster, I often imagined that this couple was real, and that late at night, they went out on the town and made fun of all of us mere humans.

After all, they can predict the weather, and we can't.
