surprise visitor...

...to a pink flower

just as i was ready to depress - the shutter button - lookit who showed up - a blue damsel fly - out of nowhere she came - for i wasn't near water - and i thought they frequented water, right? - or maybe that's simply - a fallacy i have been led - to believe all these years - regarding damsels and dragonflies - that they must live near water sources - perhaps someone can clear that up - for me 'cuz this day this flower - was found in a little - cement flower bed along - with several other kinds of flowers - and this blue damsel was the - only one i saw flitting around - i swear she was posing for me - as she stayed on the bloom - a good 30 seconds while - i snapped off some decent shots - this may not necessarily be - the very best of the lot - but i liked it for the expression - on that little face - how she was glancing right at me - fearless and thoughtful and ready to make it...
