This is a hibiscus plant at the Museum. Note the damage on the leaves in the background. We have the same problem with our baby hibiscus at home. Apparently, there are two options for getting rid of these buggers: chem-power galore, or hand picking-offing. Chem-power gets washed off from the leaves by rain, and ends up in groundwater. BAD. As we are rather conscious of watershed pollution, I visit our hibiscus daily and rid it of crunching pests.
