Mane Event

The children on "The Lion of Scotland" in St Andrew Square, Edinburgh. The sculpture is by Ronald Rae and it's move to here from Holyrood Park caused a fair bit of huffing and puffing, but we love it here where we can see it on most visits.

Big Lion.

We were in town to buy shoes for the older lads with a strategy of visiting the expensive shoe shops, then buying from the cheap ones. Worked a treat! But I did buy myself some slippers in Schuh... Oops :)

We had fun with the little camera again today, using it's face recognition feature. On the train I took a few shots of them each and told the camera their names and birthdays. As we took photos through the day, they were very excited when the camera recognised them, putting their names against their faces. Clever stuff, but once the picture is off the camera it appears to be useless! I'll have to see if there's a way to get any software to recognise these tags.
