Face of the Drought

Detroit Reservoir, high in the Oregon Cascades. Usually, this scene would be all water, but now, the Breitenbush River trickles through the canyon into the reservoir. If you look closely on the upper left third of the picture, you can see the boat docks some 60 feet or more from the water. We've never seen the water this low. Happy 4th. Let it rain.
