Knickerbocker Glory

The children love these....I blame my mother.

I managed to raise three children until the eldest was about six without getting involved in jelly and nonsense, but "NO!" she had to interfere and let them know alllllllllllll about it.

It's all.....

"is Nanny coming?" ....hopeful
"Will she make us a jelly??".....anticipation
"We love jelly".... high expectations
"why won't you make us jelly, mummy??"...reproach

As if jelly itself wasn't bad enough she told them about knickerbockerglories....the delight that is portrayed above.
