YellowHammer
I don't see many of these - and he really stood out at the feeder today. This one and the first extra show a front and back picture of his lovely yellow colouring. More timid that the greenfinch, he was happy to eat with the sparrows and wax eyes, but when a greenfinch appeared, he removed himself smartly from the tray.
I would love to know how they got the name yellowhammer.
Extra 2 and 3 are for Tussocktale's Boss who had issued me with a challenge.
To the Boss: The day clouded over so I managed another attempt once the hose had defrosted. I think I have the technique sorted now - just need to have a better subject :-))
