Orchard
After cycling to work yesterday my blood pressure was nice and low this morning. After doing the laundry and a pile of ironing that hung over form our break on Guernsey last weekend we went to our orchard. My better half did sterling work with a hand scythe trimming the grass while I modified the cages that keep the deer our to allow the trees more space to grow.
After the orchard we had dinner and watched the first stage of Le Tour on ITV4, then the new foreign drama on BBC4.
Today's (back)-blip is an apple that is starting to develop on one of our apple trees, it's not very big yet, but it's looking healthy. The plum and damson have virtually nothing on them, and the apple trees are very variable - this is from one of the trees with a lot of fruit on, some of the others have virtually nothing. Each year is different and what ever we get will be nice and taste good.
