Independent vegetables

So it was July the 4th- independence day.

I had a nice start to the day- went out of my building for my standard NF latte and stumbled across this farmers market. Bought a bunch of flowers (zinnias and basil!) from some Mennonite girls.I also got some whipped goats cheese and tomatoes and whipped up a lovely lunch!

Also was given this bee chocolate- see extra photos. Was caramel and honey with sage in it. Was really nice!

The other extra photo is garlic shoots. I guess you cook them like garlic or sauté them perhaps?
