NOT Red White and Blue Cookies

What do you suppose used to be in this ziplock bag? 

If you guessed Red White and Blue Cookies, you'd be right.  I made them for a "Happy Birthday America" get-together.  I had been saving the white chocolate chip pieces since Christmas, and it took three bags of M&Ms to get enough red and blue pieces for the cookies. 

The plate of pretty cookies went to the party while the remaining part of the batch lived in a bag on the table to be nibbled at another day.  However, Taz the dog decided she wanted to celebrate the 4th of July while I was away.   Instead of fireworks, her evening probably ended with a tummy ache.
