A quick call in to see how things were going with Early Bird which they'd managed to get a temporary repair to. It seems that it had come down on something sharp in the mud which had punctured its underside. Hmmm. And didn't that happen to my own little boat four years ago on that very same mooring (with less harmful consequences luckily). We'll need to give whole area a good going over, which won't be easy.
So, oot in the evening. Amy! Quite a gentle low key film really. Or is that just your humble reviewer. Don't know what her old man is banging on about - he doesn't come over particularly badly. Though he certainly thrust himself into the centre of things when he could. That's what we dads do! I think Frankie Boyle may wince though. Sad stuff.
So afterwards, to a hipster bar. I got the last bottle of blonde Weiss beer! Only dark stuff after that. It must be summer.
