Dolphin watchers
With an inshore mist, it didn't seem like the most obvious day for dolphin spotting at Channory Point, but I thought I'd steal a march by going along anyway. Unfortunately many others had already turned up, and worse that that, they were starting to leave, with their telephoto lenses and telescopes. I didn't ask if anyone had seen some dolphins, they all looked so self-satisfied that I knew the answer. The dolphin show was over. I went out to the fish freezing sea, knowing it would be in vain, and had a wee cry.
After that I walked up a long country road, thinking that life is, well, a cruel affair. (See extra pic.)
