Wild Lupins

Sadly, Piper is getting old rapidly and is ailing at the moment despite the best care from the Vet. So a walk around the lake was the order of the day but the weather and the scenary were just perfect. Wild lupins are common around here and this clump in particular seemed to be auditioning for a place in the tourist guide. A little further on our walk we were fortunate to come across some Martagon or Monk,s Head Lillies which were just spectacular and the first I have seen this year.
