ASTRANTIA major 'Hadspen Blood'

A strange day, the ferries are likely to be 'off' due to strike action from Wednesday until the weekend. We planned to head off to Cumbria for a family funeral and now have to leave Tuesday instead of Wednesday if the strike goes ahead. Today was about working and planning to make sure all is in place to leave Tuesday. The head isn't in work mode yet and struggling.

The Hadspen is tough. It was planted years ago but didn't like the deer nibbling it. However since the fence was installed two or three years ago the plant has proved its worth, this year is the best yet.
