Yellow Flag Iris, Lyne of Linton

Yellow Flag Iris (Iris pseudacorus) growing close by the old ruined cottage at Lyne of Linton, with the Mither Tap of Bennachie in the distance.

In less than a month now, the large clump just behind the iris will be aflame with the purple blooms of Rosebay Willowherb (Fireweed, Chamerion angustifolium).
