Bucolic

This could be a scene from Arcadia.  In fact, it is a view from above Lathkill dale in the Peak district after meeting up with A and P and the grandchildren, visiting Kate's memorial bench, doing a bit of maintenance and then having a pub lunch at Over Haddon (see extras.) The walk along the river and back over the fields was very beautiful.  Kate doted on her dalmation which she trained as a youngster.  It seemed fitting that, as we began to polish the plaque, a very similar dalmation bounded around the corner of the path and joined us.  Fortunately its owners arrived a couple of minutes later.  A Flickr set can be viewed here.
