hello

We've decided to take off all the long extended branches on the old apple tree. It's a shame because it was a beautiful tree. After losing one in the storm we thought it was likely to happen again. We took another one off today so instead of the branches being 25+ feet long they'll only be about 10 feet long. We're hoping it will leaf up but if it doesn't I'll plant a couple of rambling roses to spread out on the top. Nelly and Sid aren't too pleased about the disruption in the garden. Nelly came over to see me when I was taking pictures and I like this picture of her.
