Sunshine, cream teas and flowers
With the promise of slightly less rain, we escaped the house for a day out to Ely. We had a lovely day out of sightseeing and shopping (yarn for me, tea for OH, stones for T and beads for M), plus the obligatory stops for tea and cake. Our final cafe stop of the day had a lovely garden at the back. So we sat and enjoyed tea and scones while the kids had a great time playing hide and seek and finding secret passages all over the garden.
Sadly we couldn't get into the cathedral as it was closed for a graduation ceremony, which means we will have to go back :)
Thanks for your kind comments yesterday. I'm feeling more positive about blip and looking forward to the year ahead.
(I think this is cow parsley, but it appears there are lots of wild flowers that look like this)
