Little people and little bird

down at Maldon today for a picnic in the park to celebrate my great-nephew's 3rd birthday. He had great fun with his sister in the 'splash park' there after lunch.  Luckily the rain held off and lovely sunshine in the afternoon. Afterwards had a walk along the river where I spotted the little starling (added as an extra) .
