The Lion's Mouth

The lane which runs through the Great Wood and along the western wall of the Felbrigg estate is known as The Lion's Mouth and is marked as such on the Ordnance Survey Maps. I walk here or drive through it most days as it is only a stone's throw from our cottage.
There's been a change in  the weather - some rain today which was a relief - and once it cleared and the sun came out, there was a cool breeze and the temperature had fallen several degrees. It's fresh.

I got HL's new car insured and took it for a short spin. It is virtually silent when you start it up. It's an electric and petrol hybrid engine. Think she is going to enjoy it when she gets back from Denmark.
