Party time

What a fab, fun packed day!

We started off nice and early this morning at Joshua's 4th birthday party, at Woodland Imps in a beautiful forest near Newbury. What an amazing outdoors set up. The boys had a whale of a time in the mud kitchen, on the stick bridge, climbing and generally getting muddy - perfect.

Afterwards they all sat around a campfire and toasted marshmallows, the boys were transfixed by it all and it was such a lovely experience for us all. I enjoyed chatting with the girls and getting back to nature too. Rosie had a big feed sitting with Mummy on a tree stump(!) and then slept through the rest of the party!

We headed into town and enjoyed the carnival in the sunshine, lots of floats and a big procession went though town. C loved it, especially the fire engines and police vehicles!

On the way home we stopped off at the adventure farm where we will have C's party in a couple of weeks - all looks good with the venue for the party tea so that's good!
