This totally gratuitous graphic is my personal poke-in-the-eye to Herr Wolfgang Schaeuble, who, back in February told us that 'Elections Change Nothing' and that 'There Are Rules'
What he was trying to tell us in his clumsy and ill-thought-out presentation was that newly elected national governments have a responsibility to honour the promises, debts and other misdemeanours left behind by their predecessors.
