Heat Wave Apricot

We hope to be able to enjoy them before we leave.

What did I do in the 38-degree heat?  Gamed a bit, walked to the nearest supermarket for a couple of things, and that's it.  Felt groggy and heavy most of the day.  Idem ditto hubby.  The difference with the tropics?  Not much of a breeze here.  Oh yea, almost forgot the regulars ... ate, washed my hair (some guilty feeling there about using the water), napped.  And in the evening, hubby and I took the walk we would have liked to have taken earlier.  It was so warm people were still out, radios blaring from various gardens in the neighbourhood, people walking their dogs, even kids on their bikes enjoying the evening air.
