Skyler & Uncle Tommy

Today, Sklyer got to drive down to great-grandma & great-grandad's house (don't worry, it was maybe a 1/4 mile). He actually grabbed the wheel & would turn it & actually seemed like he knew what he was doing! Then he had to try & be like mommy & reach for the radio to look for some cool tunes.

But this made me realize, I really miss living in the middle of nowhere. I hated it at the time since there was never anything to do & I'd look out the window & see nothing but fields. But when I moved into town, I really realized how nice it was. Didn't hear police/fire/ambulance sirens everynight (sometimes twice or more), never had to worry about someone stealing anything of mine if I left my car unlocked, & I was always able to leave the house for a great deal of time with the doors unlocked, & not have to worry. It was nice. I am happy to live in town since shopping, gas, food, & pretty much everything else is so close but the peace & quite of the country was just so great.
