Crocus seed pod. Seen in the garden of friends near Shrewsbury where we spent the night after escaping the Welsh monsoon.

On Saturday afternoon the sun came out and dried out our tent and all our wet clothes. We drove through Pennal and Machynlleth, crossing the recently re-opened river bridge and braving the flooded road beyond. Despite the rain we had a great adventure .... we'll be back in the area in August to see if it has all dried out!
