Homework

I had my wisdom teeth removed yesterday. I am not feeling my best, and Katie seems to know so. She has been extra cuddly, partly from being packed off with her friends both for school drop off yesterday and ballet class this morning & partly from worrying when she knew mama was heading to the hospital.

I went to pick her up from ballet and we headed home. She had homework to gather 100 of something. She chose photos of 100 different flowers. We had lots from yesterday but went to the garden centre to finish the 100. We also bought some craft bits for a piece of designing homework.

At home, we snuggled and started her new reading book. She was so excited that she's been skipped a few levels to books that seem about appropriate at long last! Consequently she has been on a mission to read them.

We then spent some time designing a clown face paint. And doing the preparation for a Cats mask she's making, we had great fun using "angel fibres" to make our own shimmery fabric. We also glittered up a piece of fun foam. We had a blast!
