Crafts

For the first time in ages I had both the time and the energy to engage in some crafts today.

I finished this piece of weaving which hasn't yet decided if its being worn or thrown on a table. I washed the yarn I finished spinning last weekend, and I finished one of the socks I've been working on since January.

Had a nice long lie to start the day, lunch at the garden centre with Carlos, a spot of weeding and tidying in the late afternoon then made a nice roast dinner for the kids coming home this evening.

It's been a lovely relaxing weekend and I've managed to maintain my positive outlook to the extent that the Sunday night blues have not kicked in.
