Larkin Poe

On my way out of work this afternoon, I received a phone call from my friend Linda asking if I wanted to go and see the group Larkin Poe this evening. They supported Elvis Costello a few weeks ago and were good so, it was a yes from me.

Before that there was the scarecrow festival to check out. I didn't put together a scarecrow this year....I really do need to be more organised. We got half way around the village and the heavens opened....we got drenched!! We went home and then drove around the village later to see the scarecrows.

As for Larkin Poe...well I have to say they were brilliant. To see a full set by them showed off their talent. So much so that I bought their cd on the way out.
