The Baddeck River.

I managed to get an early start to my day off!   Started with breakfast, alone and quiet, by the lake down in Baddcek, then a bit of shopping...bought a fabulous new summer hat (will blip it soon!) to aid in the next part of my adventure.   Off to find a spot where i could set up to do a bit of painting!   This is where i found some peace and quiet.  Mind you, it was close to the highway, but with my earbuds in and music playing i was oblivious to the clatter!   Had a wonderful couple of hours, sketching then doing a water colour.  The hat was perfect, and the rather strong breeze kept the bugs at bay. 

Home again to visit with Terry's 2 sisters, Mary who is staying with us for a few days, and Jodi who drove Mary here, who only stayed for lunch.

Feeling a lot more balanced that's for sure!  and i won't even think about what i have to do over the next 3-4 days!!!!
