The North Bar
We visited Beverley several years ago through choir connections so it was nice to have a potter round and renew acquaintance with the Methodist church there.
This is the North Bar, the only remaining town gate, which was built in 1409, from the outsider's perspective, hence the street name 'North Bar Without'. On the other side there is a corresponding street 'North Bar Within'.
