Fly Past – Rippingale Feast

We were told to expect the flypast at 14.57, and at 14.57 precisely we were privileged to be given a display by the RAF Battle of Britain Spitfire.  A bonus to us is that the pilot lives in the next village but one.
 
I took LOADS of photos of the feast, but the most pleasing to my mind were my shots of the flypast.  In this one he did get a bit close to himself .  .  .
 
Now a big thanks to   irunlykagirl  for coming up with ‘Winter’ for tomorrows MonoMonday  (today to be precise, I’m still a bit behind) as we have just had some of the hottest days back here in blighty .  .  .   Watch this space as they say.
