Red Point
Eco gGeran was ment to head home on the bus so took her to the stop, someone did not read the timetable the bus did not run on a Monday. So all changed to tomorrow and another day with the family.
We headed to Red Point for a walk, it was lovely, first to the old fishing station, ruins now, We were going to have lunch here but we had an invasion of german tourists. We strolled back along the sand and found a spot, the honey and bumble bees were harvesting the machair.
We decided to hug the coast and walked along the cliffs, I visited and 42m trig point as a treat. Down onto the other beach and back to car. We headed back via a refreshment and ice cream stop.
The ladies made tea and I headed out to do a hill, Juno was knackered so left her behind. Decided on the fell running shoes and worked my way up quite quickly, the views were darkening with the rain threat approaching. I met some ferral goats, they seemed unfazed with my presence. A quick stop at the summit and a phone call for me to get chocolate on the way back.
Ran down and back to a midge hell. Changed and on the road, picked up a hitch hiker, Ollie form Metz France and dropped him of in the village.
Back to cottage , chocolate handed over, Juno greeted and food,
