A lovely evening....

On the first Monday in July each year is the La Viaer Marchi. It's a lovely event held in Saumarez Park. Thousands turn out on a lovely summer evening such as today. It great to see people you haven't seen for ages. Traditional Guernsey food and cider is available to buy and old crafts like making crab pots can be seen being made. Guernsey Dancers perform old dances local to the island and there is Maypole dancing. A lovely evening!
