Adventures In The Top Garden

Day 4 ~ Growing up, one of the many highlights of being in England would be sitting with granddad while he lit the bonfire and watered the tomatoes, and then helping him pick fresh raspberries and blackberries from the bushes. Today, that's what I did. I have to say that even now, it's so much fun to me. Being able to sit and listen to him sing or talk about the day's goings on made me feel extremely blessed to have that time with him. I thank God every day that he is still around with us despite the scares we've had. He may be in his 80's, but he has more energy than a 5 year old child who's on a sugar high!
