Cafeteria mm75
I am not kidding. It is summertime. Or as I like to refer to it, time to wear hand warmers and my coat sweaters at work. The cafeteria is the worst.
In the winter, I will be able to do summer! I usually wear sleeveless dresses in the winter. 10 below outside, frying eggs on my desk in the winter!
If I haven't said it lately, thanks for following me. I will catch up with comments soon. I find myself during "downtime" ummmmm, sleeping!
This will be a great week and I have no gigs until Saturday. Then we have two!
Work is always crazy. Summer time is trauma time and as most of those accounts are mine, it's a busy day. I manage inpatient accounts and also admit patients as they present to us. Somedays there is only time to admit. I hate leaving work undone. Today I worked with my friend Julie. We always laugh, also Bonnie and Christine. I am so lucky to have such great co workers. Many of my co workers took this week off. This means a sucky week. But as they say, how do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time. ( it's a metaphor, I don't really have an appetite for elephants. Now you show me a good giraffe.......I AM KIDDING!)
My big treat this week? Pedicure. I love pedicures. They should be required and covered by insurance. I just looked at my toes and the polish is chipped. I was horrified. Not enough to bend over and fix them, but horrified just the same. It's ok there are shoes that cover my feet. I just found out I have no remover. Unless I can use duct tape or olive oil, I am out of luck.
OMG BEST country western song title EVER!
All I have left is........
Olive oil and duct tape..........
Is all that I can find, it won't mend my heart' cause you can't be mine........
Oh I can polish the chair wood and fix the cushion there......Buuuuuuut, I cannot take the polish of my toes 'cause you aren't here.
Ok obviously my toes aren't the only thing needing some polish.......
And I have rambled so...
Good morning down under. Enjoy your winter as we in the north say goodnight with 80 degree days and 50 degree nights. It's good to live in Maine. The land where lobsters, potatoes and the Christmas trees grow!
See you tomorrow
