Approaching Storm

Snow is predicted for tomorrow and I was doing a lot of outside work in preparation. I sat down for a few minutes with a cup of tea and glanced out of the window. To my surprise a nearby hillside that was green a few minutes ago was now white, and a white mist was approaching. Thinking that the snow was early I dashed out and attempted to finish the jobs. But it was a hail storm, brief and very loud. Everything turned white. No damage done. The stones were small, but dense.

Well, I’m prepared for snow tomorrow. And for a power cut if necessary.
