Green Fly!

My plants are covered in green fly.  They look like they are having a really good time on my flowers.  I need some birds to peck at them except they've sussed that I have a cat.  I miss watching the birds in my garden.

p.s if I had had a better zoom, I could have taken a better photo of the critter - I was aiming for the flower but he got in the way!
