Easy Peasy Fingerless Gloves

I had a little bit of yarn left from the lace shrug I finished yesterday so I've made a very simple pair of fingerless gloves.  I cast on 40 stitches, 2 by 2 rib (knit 2, purl 2) for 6 inches, joined the sides for 2 inches, left a gap for the thumb for 1.5 inches and seamed the rest.  Simple!
