Clouds Over Mount Pukanui

On my way to check the post this morning I took a slight diversion, heading down past Te Wanahu Flat down on to the levels alongside the river before Mount Peel Station.

Looking up the gorge road I noticed this impressive cloud forming over the hills behind the Rangitata Gorge, in this case Mt Pukanui, which stands guardian over the southern end of the gorge.
