On the tiles
I was going to stop on the way to Aberdeen airport to try to shoot something scenic. But there were thunder storms and torrential rain pretty much all the way, so instead you're getting a 17th century Delft tile.
The horsey thing with a horn sticking out of its head can surely only be a unicorn. However, the fact that it's depicted as an aquatic creature seriously undermines the principal accepted theory on unicorn extinction, viz. that the little blighters were playing around while Noah was loading up and consequently missed the boat.
(And thanks to the weather delaying my flight, I've even had time to upload it...)
