The Man Booker Prize goes into translation

Today the MB team announced their merger with the Independent Translation Prize. I attended the formal announcement at the South Bank Centre. Renewed some friendships, pleased to meet Christopher McLehose again (Scandi translation legend) and make new friends including at Four Coleman Getty. More attention for the writing arts. More encouragement for the reading habit.
