All Heads Down

Breakfast was appreciated on another cold and frost morning. These hens are purebred Lavender Araucanas - layers of pretty, medium sized blue/green eggs. They are just coming back into lay after a two month rest. I shut them in their house every night and they spend the days free ranging in the paddock.
